The developers of A Plague Tale
Requiem have revealed the release date of their latest creation. Thanks to this we know when to expect it in stores.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is one of the more interesting promising games due to debut later this year. As we have just learned, the Asobo studio's venture will go on sale in October, or more precisely on the 18th of that month. PC will support raytracing and DLSS technology from NVIDA.
The reveal of the release date of A Plague Tale: Requiem was accompanied by the publication of quite a solid material, presenting the game's gameplay. Wounded Amicia – the game's protagonist – and her brother Hugo are pursued by soldiers. Gameplay starts with a chase sequence and then transitions seamlessly into a stealthy game – quite brutal, it should be noted. During the gameplay we see the weapons and skills of the protagonists, including Hugo's ability to control rats.
Asobo also revealed that it has teamed up with NVIDIA, resulting in DLSS and ray tracing support on desktops. For now, unfortunately, we don't know the hardware requirements of the game, so it's impossible to determine what kind of graphics card will be needed to enjoy all the technological bits and pieces.
As mentioned, the release of A Plague Tale: Requiem is scheduled for October 18. It will be played then on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch. Below you can take a look at the mentioned gameplay.
