The Reptilian Alliance' rank structure is rather unique, as it still allows for the independent races to maintain their own ranks, and yet lets the other races work together in a unified military if they chose. This same system works for each races ships and the one created by a united front.
War Commanders are what would be the equivalent of the Federation council. They decide what is best for the Alliance, and decide what systems should be attacked to strengthen their grasp. These are, however unlike Federation terms, still military ranks. Each race of the RA has one War Commander.
Still much is still
unknown about how and what these ranks mean, and will be updated more when more information is gathered.
