[ THE HISTORY ]

 

The Dominion War took a heavy toll on the Federation. While still emerging victorious the fleet was devastated. The once proud Federation now only retained a handful of small ships. Not expecting such heavy losses they were caught off guard when suddenly a new alliance emerged from the ashes of the war.

 

Now recognizing that the Federation was no longer in a position to protect the universe any longer many other races banded together in order to become the new power in the universe. What started out as a noble concept over the years soon became twisted and warped as power struggles began to emerge in the new alliance.

 

Meanwhile the Federation could only sit by quietly rebuilding until it reached a point where it could one day stand on its own again. However what became known as the Reptilian Alliance grew in size and slowly began to expand into Federation space. Attempting to hold what was once theirs the Federation engaged the Alliance in battle only to suffer greater losses than expected. Retreating to a smaller sphere of influence the Federation was largely unheard from as the Reptilian Alliance emerged victorious.

 

The Reptilian Alliance consists of the Gorn, Jem'Hadar, KDL, Saurians and Histah.

 

Now 50 years after the Dominion War, the universe has realized the corruption of the Reptilian Alliance and has now begun to support the Federation once more in an attempt to retake the universe from this corrupt group...
